Todd and Leslie Caricature Art with Pitchforks

This picture start my thirty day challenge for
January 2016. I have decided to do thirty caricature drawings of
family, friends, and famous people. I asked for requests on Facebook
and this was my first request. Caricature pictures are defined as
imitation of a person or thing in which certain striking characteristics
are exaggerated on order to create a comic or grotesque effect. As
an artist I like to stay away from pushing the image to far away from
the original portrait. I just do this mostly for the costumers
satisfaction. So individuals are fun to stretch in different directions
but, overall the costumer usually likes a less grotesque effect.
Leslie and her husband Todd are old friends but I
still kept the caricature tight. They are always smiling and usually
happy so this was a great time to show off their great personalities.
I used several photos from FB as my reference. Todd sometimes has a
beard as sometimes doesn't so I decide to just go with the photo. I
don't know about the pitch forks but, a request was received so it was
added. They live in the country so maybe that had something to do with
it.
This is the first of thirty caricature
drawings. I am taking request so get yours in fast before all the
spaces are full. I ask for permission before doing any caricature. I
will do famous people too!
