Thirty Paintings in 30 Days- Day 21 Steampunk Steam Engine

I drew this out on the Strathmore block watercolor paper with a graphite pencil.   I kept the drawing loose.  I usually paint in details with my brush as I paint.  I added light gears at the end by drawing with a wet brush then wiping away the water with a paper towel.   I also painted the tubing dark in front of the light and light in front of the dark paint.  I use this trick to make images stand out.
