I love
the colors in this painting. The teal blue and purple accent each
other in this painting. I painted the purple thick and let it puddle in
the middle. Then I laid metal gears on top. I pressed the gears down
with my fingers and held them until almost dry. After they were
completely dry I lifted them off. I like the textured background you
get from sprayed paint and masking fluid. I know this technique will
always be a part of my watercolors.
