I am in a caricature artist group on Facebook.  Each week the winner of the challenge gets to pick a new person to draw.   It is a great way to start out learning how to draw a caricature.   There are great examples of the same person drawn  in different styles.  The name of the group is Traditional Caricature ART Contest found here.  

My work in progress

I used several reference photos to get a likeness of the star.   I drew in his fists first.   Sylvester Stallone's career was launched with the movie he wrote and stared in, Rocky.    The fighting pose seemed appropriate.   The movie won best picture and three Oscars.   The Rocky Wikipedia site has a great deal of interesting information about the Rocky movies.
